Sound cards are down in cost, up in functionality and you're i-Pod never sounded so good for so little on a PC system as it does with a digital sound card. Burn your tracks and listen to them in high Dolby or Surround Sound mode.

Port Upgrades - Out of USB or FireWire ports (already?)   

For a few bucks more - you can install 3, 4, or even 5 USB or FireWire ports to each PCI slot you have available. You may even have the ability to add ports to the front chassis area of the PC. Whatever the expansion, you can have a maximum of 128 USB-2 devices attached to your system (technically) all at once.

Extra USB ports provide a great way to "desktop accessorize". Get what's most suitable for your situation!

Couri Tech also can install legacy Parallel or Serial ports (as may be available for your model PC) for your equipment that may not be used in newly purchased PCs as a result of davancing technologies.

• All hardware upgrade requests will carry the manufacturers hardware warranty guarantee for replacement (beyond the terms of any noted terms by Couri Tech as is noted on our "contract warranty" periods - (usually seven (7), to thirty (30) Days (is dependent on manufacturer of equipment).

• All hardware/software parts are as warranted by manufacturer of the hardware only, Couri Tech does warrant hardware if purchased directly at (or ordered through our online) stores, (but) only to the extent for replacement of the part or item ordered.

  The customer is responsible for shipping or RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) or re-stocking fees (usually 20%) or other handling charges as may be applicable.

  Unless stated otherwise in writing or as is "noted in your contract" at the time of installation Couri Tech assumes no responsibility to provide labor for replacement cost(s) as may be associated with the replacement or repair of any failed hardware device (and/or) software  services due to customer abuse, neglect, power event or otherwise reasonable preventable measure.

  1. Couri Tech assumes no responsibility, nor will it reimburse any client whose hardware has failed after installation for any reason (i.e.) the following:

1. Loss of data, if found to be a result of actual hardware equipment failure

2. Physical abuse of PC (and/or) logical abuse or programming error (hacking the registry)

3. Viral infection or other breach of PC security

4. Protocol (or other software) routine failures, caused by 3rd Party updates

5. Static discharge, power disruption (or) any other power event spike, sag, surge or outage

• Neglect by customer to observe caution or observation of standard (or otherwise) known industry standard practices and acceptable use guidelines for the handling of PC equipment during the transport or (re)-installation of equipment by any (and all) persons outside of a Couri Tech authorized service technicians is not warranted

• Couri Tech assumes no responsibility for lost data during (or after) installation of any new hardware, unless otherwise specifically agreed to in your written contract.
  • Back up of all customer data is the sole responsibility of all customers, unless it is requested by the customer and agreed to be a paid for service and that Couri Tech perform a backup as a part of your upgrade service agreement!

• All backups that are the responsibility of Couri Tech must be agreed to (and signed for) "prior to any upgrade services that are being performed"!

Digital Homes -

• Intel's VIIV, is their new home-entertainment PC-centric spec for an all-Intel box (i.e. CPU, chipset, WiFi, etc.)

• It will be capable of running the latest and greatest in multimedia.
